Get to know Aimee Swartz, MD
Aimee Swartz, MD is a native of Buffalo. She graduated summa cum laude with her BS in Biology at Canisius College in Buffalo. Dr. Swartz went on to earn her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University where she graduated magnum cum laude with AOA distinction. She completed both her general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester. While in Rochester, she earned numerous teaching awards.
Dr. Swartz’s interests include comprehensive treatment of arterial and venous vascular disease with special emphasis on women’s cardiovascular health and minimally-invasive/endovascular therapies.
Dr. Swartz is board certified in vascular surgery and joined the Vascular and Endovascular Center of WNY in August 2014.
