Get to know Asfa Y Shad, DO

Care Philosophy

My goal is to provide personalized headache care to help patients restore function and quality of life.

Background

Dr. Asfa Shad is a board certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. She specializes in headache medicine, chronic migraine care, women’s brain health, and advanced procedural therapies. With over 15 years of experience, she provides a modern, patient-centered approach. Her focus is on improving quality of life, cognitive wellness, and long-term brain health through evidence-based treatments and individualized care.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital, followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Texas Southwestern. Building on this foundation, her expertise includes administering Botox® injections, occipital nerve blocks, trigeminal nerve blocks, sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, trigger point injections, and infusion therapy.
