Care Philosophy
Dr. Call believes in treating the whole patient, with attention to each individual’s history and needs. Her goal is to provide the safest and most appropriate care through open communication and collaboration – including preventive care, ongoing monitoring, and medical or surgical management of various conditions.
Background
Board certified, Dr. Elspeth Call provides obstetric care as well as the medical management of basic gynecologic conditions, including treatments such as hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, laparoscopy and other surgical procedures.
As a mother of three, she is uniquely positioned to offer both personal and professional perspectives about topics including staying healthy and managing stress during pregnancy, and adjusting to postpartum life.
She comes from a long line of physicians; both her great-grandmother and great-great grandmother were graduates of UB Medical School, serving as doctors in the early 20th Century.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
An actress – I used to write letters to casting directors in NYC but then when I was around 9 years old I gave up on “being discovered”.
What is your favorite movie?
I love any Audrey Hepburn film, but will watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall anytime its on TV.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Mexico – sun, heat and tacos!
