Dr. Jibran Mirza earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in The Bottom, Saba, Caribbean Netherlands. Following medical school, he pursued his internal medicine residency at the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Mirza finished his training after completing a cardiovascular fellowship at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Mirza’s areas of clinical expertise include stable coronary artery disease and ischemic heart disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, heart rhythm and conduction abnormalities, valvular heart disease, vascular disease, and pericardial disease. He offers various diagnostic and treatment options, such as transthoracic echocardiogram interpretation, transesophageal echocardiogram performance and interpretation, electric cardioversion, implantable loop recorder implantation, treadmill exercise stress test, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, exercise nuclear medicine myocardial perfusion imaging, Regadenoson nuclear medicine myocardial perfusion imaging, and evaluation and management for cardiac sarcoidosis and cardiac amyloidosis. In addition to English, Dr. Mirza also speaks Urdu, Hindi, and an intermediate level of Arabic.
