Dr. Messana is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, board eligible by the American Academy Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a Candidate Fellow of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He received his undergraduate degree from John Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from Stanford University. Dr. Messana completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Albany Medical College. As a native of WNY, he returned to the area after completing a Pediatric Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at the world-renown Christine M. Kleinert Institute.
