Care Philosophy
My approach to patient care involves treating each patient with respect and dignity. I want my patients to ask questions about their care and feel comfortable with the choices they make. I believe it’s my responsibility to provide the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art orthopedic care possible to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Background
Dr. Paul Lapoint was born and raised in WNY. He graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at Temple University, before returning to Buffalo to be closer to family.
Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Lapoint is motivated by seeing his patients’ lives change for the better following their joint replacement surgery. He is the recipient of the David J. Martinke, DO Distinguish Educator Award for 25 years of teaching residence and medical students.
