Get to know Ramesh Luther
Background
Dr. Ramesh Luther studied medicine at the H.P. Medical College in Simla, India, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine. Following his graduation, he completed an internship at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi. He has served as the Gastroenterology Laboratory Director at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus since 1988. Dr. Luther was also appointed to many positions in both hospital and professional committees, including Medical Staff President at Sisters of Charity Hospital and Sisters Hospital, St. Joseph Campus, and Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee at Sisters of Charity Hospital, Sisters Hospital, St. Joseph Campus, and Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Luther specializes in treating a variety of gastrointestinal conditions such as IBD, IBS, colon polyps and cancer, GERD, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, liver disease, gallstones, and pancreatic and biliary disease. Treatments offered by Dr. Luther include endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and spyglass cholangioscopy.
