Background

Dr. Zachary Brumberger is an internal medicine physician with clinical expertise in treating cardiovascular conditions. Dr. Brumberger graduated with his Doctorate of Medicine with research honors from the University at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC.  

Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Brumberger specializes in treating cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, pericarditis/myocarditis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and peripheral artery disease. Dr. Brumberger is skilled in various treatments, including transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, EKG/ECG, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring. Dr. Brumberger has volunteered with various organizations such as the American Red Cross and Rochester Habitat for Humanity and provided non-emergent medical care for underinsured and underserved families through Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic.
