Trinity Medical WNY is pleased to welcome Matthew Behringer, DO, to its physician network. A general surgeon, Dr. Behringer specializes in routine, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures involving hernias, gallbladder removal, skin lesions and masses, diverticulitis, and colon cancer.
Dr. Behringer attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Seton Hill, Pennsylvania, and completed his residency at Franciscan Health St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois. A Western New York native, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo and is pleased to return to the area to join the surgical team at Trinity Medical WNY.
“Communication is a key component in my practice,” said Dr. Behringer in describing his care philosophy. “It’s important that my patients fully understand their treatment options – surgical or non-surgical – to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes.”
