Background
Dr. Abdollah Sedighi received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical University of Gdansk in Poland. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Sedighi also holds certification in stress, transthoracic, and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, CT coronary angiography, aviation cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. Dr. Sedighi currently practices noninvasive cardiology with expertise in preventative cardiology, women and geriatric heart health, and treats all aspects of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, adult congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, heart valve disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol. He has held numerous academic and administrative positions, including Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Director of Valiant Clinic in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Sedighi is fluent in English, Polish, and Persian, and has interests in cinema, literature, sports, exercise, and music.
