Get to know Umer Syed
Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Umer Syed attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. Dr. Syed went on to complete his residency training at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Following his residency, Dr. Syed completed his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at SUNY University at Buffalo, where he was awarded the distinction of Chief Fellow. Dr. Syed treats a variety of cardiovascular conditions including preventative cardiology, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathies, acute and chronic manifestations of coronary artery disease, valvular diseases, and abnormal rhythms.
