My focus is on providing compassionate, evidenced-based care while promoting patient well-being, improved patient safety, and outcomes.
It is essential that I work toward aligning clinical, institutional, and patient & family-centered care. I also have strong ties to my community. Background
Board certified in pulmonary diseases, sleep medicine, and internal medicine, Dr. Muzamil Sheikh attended medical school at Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lehore, Pakistan. Dr. Sheikh went on to complete her residency training at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. Following her residency, she completed fellowships in sleep medicine at Newark Beth Israel Center in Newark, New Jersey and pulmonary medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.
Dr. Sheikh treats a wide array of pulmonary conditions and has received awards for teaching achievement, research, and excellence in documentation.
